Welcome to “Doi Cocosi” – Guest House in Horezu

We are a team of 15 people working just to get you satisfied spending a few quiet moments at “Doi Cocosi” Restaurant.

We are located in Horezu, at 25 km distance of the  famous Transalpina area, or 40 km of Ramnicu Valcea, or 70 km of Targu Jiu.

Whether if you transit, get here for a joyride,  for a weekend outdoor vacation or you’re here for an event, our resort provides a simple special kind of accommodation. We’re very happy to let you know that pretty soon we’re opening a pool (only imagine the pool parties and bikini beauty contest we’re planing on putting up!). On the other hand, our rooms have large windows, which gives you a very pleasant, comfortable feeling but in the same time provides total discretion. They’re pretty new buildings so you should find them modern too. They are designed for families or couples, for groups up to 50 persons.

The restaurant can accommodate up to 60 persons, offering delicious menus, prepared in our kitchen. The event hall is designed to accommodate up to 300 guest, very bright open space, with the dance floor in the middle, arranged with 30 round tables.

The terrace – Doi Cocosi Restaurant has 150 places and is a good choice for an outdoor dining. It is right across the parking lot so you can be next to you truck or bike. In the parking area can fit up to 100 cars.

Here at “Doi Cocosi”, we are enthusiastic, experienced  young team used to welcome travelers passing by or hosting local events.

In the kitchen, Aunt Marioara, (is how we named her because is very close to everybody), she is 50 years old, and she is cooking for public kitchens for 25 years, and Aunt Liliana, her colleague she is cooking since 1995 in Horezu restaurants and others.

Our menus are traditional, prepared from fresh products, as you can see on the “Menus” page where they are presented in detail.

“We’re cooking for our clients as we cook for our children. We give them what tastes delicious so that they come back to visit. If our guests could only eat how much I cook – haha”
